Spectrometer

I fount this on ebay..
A bit too expensive for what it looks like, but... it may be interesting (to repack the components into more appropriate enclosure)

Hi Bojan,

agreed, it looks flimsy - I've searched the web for more info and came up with this:

http://www.starlab.uk.com/Spectrometer/Spectrometer.htm (this seems to be the manufacturer)

The major problem in my view is the low sensitivity of the spectroscope; whether it is suitable for stellar spectroscopy needs to be assessed.

Also on offer by the same supplier is a cardboard spectrometer kit for self-assembly; this probably is of more interest for the spectroscopically minded - you'll find it at the bottom of the first link supplied above.

All in all this is probably only suitable for those of us willing to reconfigure the bits & pieces contained in either of the above.
