It pays to check prices

but you already know that.

Only a little thing, but I'm surprised at the price differences.

I bought a metal L-bracket for binoculars some years ago - Supplier A $19 plus postage

Time for another one, but Supplier A not in business at the moment.

Checked Supplier B, looks the same - $35 ("you save $4"!) plus postage I expect

I saw another advertised - Supplier C - claimed to be named brand, but photo looks identical to the one I have - regular price $89, marked down to $44 plus postage I expect.

Have bought from Supplier D - item identical to the one I bought and looks exactly the same as the $44 one above - $9 plus postage. I bought two! Friendly telephone service, prompt delivery, acceptable postage cost.

ps. All are Aussie suppliers
