In the spotlight...

Here's a Dolichopodid fly that I found sitting in its own little patch of sunlight this morning. I like the lighting - its almost like it was up on stage with a spotlight on it.

Stephen was this with the 50 macro? Stunning colours and nice focus - pity the fly did not fill more of the frame - you got photoshop? Flys are not easy subjects - flight risk increases as you get closer!

Yes Ian, this was with the 50mm macro. This image is already cropped a bit, but I didn't want to crop too much and lose the light and shadow effect.
