A couple of my night companions

The possums are so used to me being out at night I can hand them a slice of bread and they just eat it while I take their picture.

They far prefer multigrain from the bakery down the road.

Awesome Bert.. I really love when wild animals take a liking to people... I have a few snakes and lizards in the back yard that are moderately tame, and the lizards will occasionally eat food from my hand.. the snakes are a bit more shy but will generally allow contact without getting shirty..

Nice possums. The ones at my place sit on the table at dinner with us.

my possum friend sits on the mango tree or on top of the garden shed and pretends he's not there when I shine the torch at him

I also have a couple of fruit bats who swoop around and occasionally dive bomb me
