Any one who has tried to control there Nikon dslr via pc will know that the Nikon software Costs $300 and is not available at the camera store.
I even approched nikon in U.S and got told get it at the shop. So finally i have found an alternitive. You can download it here

This is realy only good for beginners, most older Nikon cameras can only do a max exposure of 30 sec. I have tested with my D70 and it works well especially in time lapse mode.. Good for HDR photography too.
NB: you still need the nikon software Capture NX for editing and converting the raw .NEF files. Or you can do jpeg. normally the cameras come with a very limited editing software included free which although not as good as capture NX will still convert the .NEF files.
