FSQ-106ED + accessories

FS: FSQ-106ED + accessories

Included:
  • FSQ-106ED - make an offer!
  • Robofocus ($375)
  • Tak. Extender Q 1.6x for FSQ-106ED ($300)
  • Tak. 7x50 Finder ($200)
  • Tak. Clamshell ($200)
  • BT Tech Losmandy D plate ($90)

All items are in excellent condition – only used a handful of times. I still have the original shipping box(es) for the FSQ.

Naturally, at this stage I'd rather not split as this kit includes everything needed to get started imaging OTA wise.

Open to serious offers to take the lot. Committed to sell as getting out of the hobby.

The photo’s attached are:
  • Setup waiting for nightfall.
  • A single 10min Ha sub straight from a SBIG ST2000XM (original is 3.6MB)

I have an FSQ106EDX myself.

I have a FLI Proline 16803 camera and no way to connect it to the scope.

The CA35 and wide Tmount adapter may be what I need. If you sell separately I am interested.

Any chance of a photo of these items so I can see how they would work in my setup?

Greg.

Greg,

The CA-35 is basically a spacer, slightly smaller in length than the one that comes standard with the OTA. The Wide T screws into the end of the CA-35, while the other side of the CA screws into the filterwheel, ccd etc... all are 2" fittings.

I'll sort out a photo for you in the morning.

Cheers,

Here you go Greg..

CA-35 screws into the wide T, which then screws into a T thread...

I'm not sure if this would be suitable for use with your huge 16803.. would crop a fair chunk of the FOV I'd imagine ???

Oh OK, Yes I have had a CA35 before. I agree it would vignette the 16803 camera.

I think I need a 4 inch CAA or a custom adapter to replace the compression ring setup and stepup thread adapter to the focuser tube.
