Not sure if the title is really accurate but we have quite a storm here in Perth but the site afterwards was glorious. I don't think the images will capture the beauty I saw or possible most other Perth go'ers saw.
The backyard photo was snapped before the clouds completely dispersed. My wife first saw the image of the front yard shot.
Sure was Malcolm. On the way home I saw the Sky slightly open up to the NW and SW, the sun shining on the clouds, yet an consistent active storm area active to the south.
It was a surreal beauty of the cloud reflected with Sunlight just like your pictures, and suddenly a lightning storm would strike horizontally along the clouds that seemed to stretch 4km or more.
Oh I wish my mobile phone video camera captured it. It was amazing!
