Om cent/Hotech

Hello everyone. Been desperate to try out my Hotech flattener with the canon on the Tak,so after venturing out last night and seeing OH MY GOD! CLEAR SKY!! did the deed. The conditions didn't last long before the cloud returned,and the seeing and light poll were annoyingly bad too,so only got 30 mins worth. Anyway,the Hotech seems to do the job and clean up the edges pretty well. Roll on winter,and hopfully some long clear spells! cheers all

I'm not too much for globular clusters but I have to admit that one is an absolute beauty. The best I've seen on this object for a while.

Nice one Darrell, Flattener is working well and the image is great!

I dare say that will be the last clear skies brisbane gets for a while... Good on you for getting amongst it!

thanks for the positive comments guys. Alex- would really love to get togeather and talk ccd's sometime. Must move on from dslr(bit scary)
