using Eyepieces Project Camera Adapter for imaging

howdy, am having trouble using a Eyepieces Project Camera Adapter on my Skywatcher 8in DOB, so i have attached my DSLR minus lens plus adaptor ring to the Eyepieces Project Camera Adapter and have tried a 10mm and 25mm eyepiece inserted into the adaptor but with no luck, any advice??.. It focusses fine if i attach my SLR body directly to the scope, i assume the focal range is just not right as i cant see any change in focus when looking at the moon for eg, . thanks for any advice..

Depending on the focus point of the actual eye piece that is where it should focus for the camera. just a quick test to tell you how far the camera should be away from the ep hold a piece of paper where you would your eye, train it on the moon and look at the image projected onto the paper untill you can see it clearly. hope that helps.
