Melb laser cutter

does anyone know where i can get some ply laser cut in Melb - N or W is easier for me

My 1st guess is Mike.

He has a 50W CNC that he uses to cut Bahtinov masks from mdf or Perspex.

You probably already know this though.

My understanding is that ply produces a lot of smoke & potentially some flame when cut, so it tends to go through a lot of environmental filters as well as cutting very slowly as compared to solid wood. IE, it is expensive to cut as compared to some of the alternatives. Just a warning in advance (here is a random thread on the issues involved)
