Shivers Ron ... The pundits wont be worried about an event due in 1.5 mill years. They have Armageddon Much sooner than that.

Nah, My mother in law remembers the last time this happened and reckons it was all media hype, the tabloid slates of the time sensationalised it and cave dwellers all moved further in to their caves but alas, nothing came of it. they all ended up looking silly and shaking their fists at the gods, if I am proven wrong this time I will donate $1000 to this web site, you can hold me to that.

Cheers, Dennis.

Cool. Wake me up from my cryogenic sleep when it happens. That's of course assuming one of many other foretold events occuring between now and 1.5 million years hasn't got to earth first. In that case, I want my money back.

Didn't Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy say we should stock up on beer and peanuts or put out heads in a paper bag ? Something like that.

Make your reservations at the restaurant at the end of the Universe quick smart.....

I'll take the beer part seriously. mmmmmmmmmmmm

That's when eta carina goes off. You may need a beach umbrella as well.
