ED Diamond Refractor 120mm f9

Hey All

I recently purchased the ED diamond refractor 120mm with a EQ5 PRO Tripod. I no longer require the product and am looking to sell for a decent offer to whoever is interested.

I also have multiple eye pieces ranging from 3.5mm up to 25mm

Anyone with a decent offer please feel free to email me on besamc@hotmail.com

Get out the crystal ball, here is another vague listing that doesn’t describe anything in detail and is open to offers; lowballers have a field day he’s asking for it. Also up for grabs is a range of eyepieces, we know for sure there is a 3.5mm and a 25mm but what others he has for sale is for us to guess at. As for brand we have to guess that too, and price we guess that as well. Don’t you just love these mystery listings where you have to tease the information out of the seller through time wasting messages back and forth until all the details are finally revealed?

Hugh, your criticisms are valid but take it easy on the guy - it's his first post. We should welcome him to IIS.

I agree, not that I want to get a slanging match off to a start here, but given this is the first post, maybe a welcome, and a few pointers rather than a tirade. Sorry.
Welcome to IIS Bas. Maybe list what you have, and what you are wanting price wise. Also put a picture or two of the item(s).

Nothing personal I was just making an observation on a common problem with listings on this site. If you are trying to sell something why make it more difficult by not including the basic information everyone wants to see. Price, description and photos.

Hi Guys

Skywatcher BD-ED 120mm F9 (not F7) Apochromatic Refractor (i paid $2800 AUS)
Baader 3.5mm Hyperion eyepiece (i paid $220 AUS)
LP 5mm Ler eyepiece (i paid $99 AUS)
LP 9mm Ler eyepiece (i paid $99 AUS)
Standard 25mm eyepiece (part of package)
2 GSO 1.25 inch polarisating filters (I paid $38 AUS)
Standard EQ5 mount (i paid $400 AUS)
Alumunium case for telescope

The telescope is no older then 4 months and it is still as new i have hardly used it. It owes me around $3600 and i am looking for roughly $2500-$2700 all included.

If its a Black Diamond 120mm, it should be F7, Not F9. I've listed an F7 OTA elsewhere here. This is a good scope, not sure about the rest of the gear on offer.

Is it the BD 120mm x 900mm? Then it is f7.5 (900 / 120 = 7.5).

Andrews have the scope (120 x 900) BUT incorrectly list it as f9.

Skywatcher website list it as f7.5.

Tube length would confirm it. I did a bit of a looksee and Skywatcher do have longer Focal lengths though.

Yes they do. It's advertised in Astronomy Now January 2010 issue. Not on Skywatcher's own website though!
