One more ETA

Hi all, here is another Eta taken through the 8" f6 newt with the 500D at 18x10min with darks and flats.

Good Eta Daniel with nice sharp stars.
Looks like you have the guiding well under control now
The only thing is that there is a bit too much green in this image.

Damn that good. Obviously the camera is quite capable of 10min subs...I thought pretty much 5 mins was the limit with DSLRs.

Although I believe the 500D noise is a quantum lower than my 450D.

Thanks Brendan, yes, I am happy with the 500D though I would think the 450D would be pretty similar and have no problems at 10 min subs.

10-15 min regularly
