Compared with the abuse of capitalisation and lack of punctuation seen in many posts, a bit of shorthand in a popup seems neither here nor there.

What would you want?

..., the last was 29 seconds ago
..., the last was 3 minutes and 46 seconds ago
..., the last was 1 hour, 6 minutes and 8 seconds ago
..., the last was yesterday at, 13:07:15 AEST
..., the last was VI nones Februarius, nona horia
