Collecting calculators?

Some time ago there was a thread on here regarding an IIS member who was collecting a lot of hand held calculators.....

I have one here but could the real calculator buff please stand up?

Cheers!

Hi all,
I have a SHARP ELSI 122 that i found in a cupboard here at work! I don't have batteries on hand to see if it still works but it's pretty funky!
Are you collecting these types of calulator Omaroo or anybody?

Cheers!

Thanks for the thought Chris

Whilst I'm pretty-much dedicated to collecting HP's alone, I'll bet that there is someone here who collects old Casios. There are hundreds of Elsi-Mate versions that make collecting them a challenge.

Thanks again for the post

I'd thought about collecting calculators at one point but on working out my budget, the numbers just didn't add up

The contents of this box is complete, right down to my original purchase receipt. Can you get replacement battery packs?

It's not for sale though.

The HP-67 is still quite common Andrew, and easy to get for US$50-60 or so in the USA. If you can't get a new battery pack then maybe buy a whole machine and salvage the pack from it...

Nice little machine though!
