M42: now with some H-alpha
I added some H-alpha to my recent M42 and I ended up with better color fidelity near the core and within the bubble. I thought I'd share it with you.

This is fantastic! The colours are vibrant - the dust is second to none! How much Ha was added (in minutes)?

Top shot. Will have to dig the old one to see the difference. I thought it was already perfect?

Right up there in my M42 stakes ... absolute cracker ... all the detail is awesome ... astrophotographically it has to set some sort of benchmark

Amazing FOV Tom, that outer dust looks like your dam car could get stuck in it

Very nice Tom. Has to be the longest exposure of M42 I've seen and one of the best for detail and dust.
Well done. Thanks for sharing.
