Quicky with QY9.

Received my QHY9 yesterday and whacked it on the ED80.
I knew the picture would be crappy because it was cloudy and the seeing was no good.
5x 10 Min HA and 8 darks, no flats.
This is a first light pic

Thank you Marc and Rob.
The stock focusser on the ED80 hold up very well with the weight of the camera and filter wheel.
Hope to do some color pictures this weekend

Trevor, slow is for old people
Nah this was just to see if it all worked and routing the cables etc.
Even the focus is a bit soft.

Really impressive start Martin.

Remember, no screwdrivers / wire cutters or any other tool like object is aloud within three feet of what I expect is a beautiful camera.

Thank you Darren
Had to open the filter wheel to put the filters in
Now i have to file a bit of off the HA filter
It just fouls the filter holder.
