I've been climbing the slippery slope of astrophotography since last year, along with the appalling weather here in Sydney, so this is my second attempt on M42 (from January), amongst other deep space targets. IP is probably the easy way out, but I can't complain about the results compared to manual processing. BTW, use DSLR Focus for capture.
Thanks for the comments. I did take flat lights, flat darks, and bias, but probably didn't do the digital development just right. Frank, didn't understand the reference to resize. Do you mean crop (further)?
