Well I have to do something I am getting Cabin Fever we are getting so much rain so I thought I would photograph a puddle on my lawn I know I am getting a little edgy
Interesting effect plus idea. I'm working on a few ideas myself given that I have scopes that are at the lowest end of the equation including a way to increase light gathering potential. No idea how well it will work as of yet but I have a ideas I can put into play. Must say I light your pick. Shows imagination imho and that's always a good thing

Thanks for your encouragement please let me know about your ideas on increasing light gathering potential
Just trying to figure out should I start a new thread?
The ideas I have on that are quite simple being quite new to the field. Likewise I've oft found that what is oft thought impossible is oft nowhere near that. Just not yet resolved as it were in the minds of those looking at it. So much we have to learn
Hey now...that IS interesting. I reckon if you do it again and really concentrate on the focus you would have an absolutely brilliant picture on your hands.

Well spotted, I like the way you see things.
Baz.
Thanks coming from you I feel very honored by your comments I really admire your work I don't know if I can get better focus as I am only using a Fuji-Film FinePix A500 5.1MP. I don't think it has much in the way of focus control but any advice you can give me would be much appreciated.
Increase the focal ratio to give you better depth of field. That way both the water and the grass will be in focus.
Cheers,
Duncan
I can only find settings for Exposure Compensation, White Balance and ISO it is a very basic camera. I am really trying to do more than my equipment is meant for but I am having fun
Great to see you experimenting. I see your point now. But my suggestion is a good one too remember for future reference. You just never know what photo opportunities may come along. It's still a great shot and as said earlier " OUTSIDE the BOX "
