Jupiter from 7-23-09

I was looking to clean off hard disk space and found some f10 videos of Jupiter from 7/23/09 (actually 7/24 05:00 UT) that I hadn't finished. I like that you can see how big the WIS is in comparison with Europa, Io, and Callisto (respectively from Jupiter).

Nice Pic Dave,

Yes, interesting to see three moons and the disc from that perspective, and compare the sizes of each.

Wait, hang on a minute, has anyone counted all of Jupiter's moons lately? Maybe the WIS was a swallowed moon rather than a fragment of a comet etc?

Somebody better start counting before they all go south!

Cheers

Chris
