My trusty 201XT is now for sale. I don't use my DSLR for astrophotography anymore (that is I must have laptop in the field anyway for my CCD) and I now use QHY5 for autoguiding.
Includes everything you might need :
- 201XT autoguider in the original box with manual and laminated field quick guide card
- all cabling (power/guider)
- two eyepieces (20mm for framing the guide star, 9mm for focusing; later perfectly parfocal with 201XT, no guessing needed)
- flip mirror assembly
This is arguably the lightest stand alone autoguider you can get. Perfect for DSLR users who don't like lugging laptops in the field.
Now $150 ONO.

Reason: sold
sorry it is already spoken for (pending funds transfer).
I believe DSI has similar autoguiding capabilities. What is the longest exposure setting on DSI? 201XT does automatically substract dark frames and can be exposed well over 10 seconds, which sometimes might be needed if you use off axis guiding and there is no bright stars available ...
I think this is now back to [for sale] as I haven't heard from Claude in three weeks.
I can understand people change minds, but it doesn't cost much to drop a PM or an email, no ?
