It's actually been a really difficult time for me during my birthday and my big 50 at that, so I haven't been up to celebrating. I lost my mum (my best friend
) only two months ago. Only last week my family was discussing what to write on her plaque where she rests with my Dad. So I haven't been in the best of spirits as my heart feels so heavy and empty. Perhaps I'll celebrate properly before the year is out, but gosh it's lovely to see birthday wishes here all the same.
