A macro the 'Bee' proud of.

While organising my photos, I came across an old macro. I am still getting the hang of macro although I think I need a better lens. Currently using a tamron 70-300 telemacro. Unfortunately My good sigma F3.5 28-80 lens is for an old pentax film which I cannot use.

C&C welcome.

That's a good action shot. Nice capture.

thanks for all your comment.

I might do a bit of processing to adjust the colours a bit.

And i just realised I stuffed up the subject

Great shot!

Yeah, it might be worth boosting the colours a tad and working the levels (in each channel) just to give the colours and contrast some 'pop'. I'd also crop out the twig/bud at the left of the image, to put the entire focus on the bee and the lavender it's flying toward.

But...hey....nice one!

That's a real improvement, Robert...on an already good shot.

Nice composition and the colours and contrast look much better.

Well done

Sure is. Maybe a smidge too saturated for me.

Actually I just looked at it again from another computer and it's not too bad. It could be my monitor. Sorry.
