Some good opportunities

If the clouds clear, looks like we might be in for some steady air.. good for imaging!

More sleepless nights ahead!

Excellent - we had our first completely cloudless night for a month or more in Brisbane last night - got some imaging of mars in, but the seeing was pretty ordinary, though might have got better later on (I packed it in around 10pm).

cheers,

Hey Mike,

Just a quick Q.
Would the moon light effect any imaging of Mars?
Just wondering if it's worth trying for Mars again?

I know I can still go for some moon shots in anycase but just wondering.

The moon never bothers me when doing planetary imaging.. I'll usually grab some avi's of the moon while i'm at it

Potentially it might reduce the contrast a bit but i've never seen an issue.
