Bombs Away!

We had some fertilizer spread before Chrimbo. The pilot got a bit festive when he saw the camera and decided to do an extra-low pass (about 30ft, cuz his wheels hit the top of a gum tree). Scared the hell out of the chickens. The poor quality is due to my trying to image while running and cringing.

Hi Peter,

You deserve a medal for gallantry in getting off this shot whilst under bombardment.

Back in the 80's I attended the Aviation-Aircraft Operation theory courses
at night at Sydney TAFE and they always reminded us that "there are old
pilots and bold pilots, but no old bold pilots".

Great photo!

Thanks. It WAS a tad unnerving.
Our neighbours call the pilot a "right' character", everyone else calls him a "dangerous head-case who should lose his license". He frequently forgets he's working and does impromptu stunt shows and even more frequently either stalls or runs out of fuel and has to land on the road or in someone's paddock!
If you're driving this way on a Saturday - beware!
