Power for fans on my dob?

After realising my mirror is 2" thick, I figured I may have thermal problems while observing so decided to get the fans on my dob working. It has an RCA jack, but the question what do I need to get it working?

From what I've researched, a 12V power supply will work but not sure what type. Looking at the DSE website I found this:

http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.st...uct/View/M9941

Here's a pic of the connection to the fans:

cheers

They are wired in parallel so a 12v supply like you have posted would be fine.
red + black -
Those B Adcock mirrors are fantastic.

Is there a reason you want a mains powered supply, and not a battery?

to be honest, i have absolutely no idea on this planet what/how I need to get those fans spinning. A battery pack would be ideal, but what cables would I need? Its an RCA jack, but do battery packs come with RCA cables, and then there is the question of size of pins. THe hole on the jack measures 3mm across.

You can get these rca connectors from DSE and Jaycar and just about anywhere if you make a cable yourself then you can make it from banana plugs to RCA with normal speaker wire.
Positive is the middle contact, negative the outer contact.
