Moon 24-12-09

Trying out the Focal reducer with the Celestron Neximage CCD. This allowed me to take the full pic in about 19 slices. Rookie mistake I didn't overlap in one spot perfectly so I have a fault that ruins an otherwise nice picture. (still better luck/skill next-time!) C9.25, Neximage+reducer, lightly processed in registrax (200-250 frames per pic), Software adjust to contrast/brightness (next time i might try a filter) and then CS4 with a touch of the Topaz filter.

Seasons greets to all Have a happy Xmas.

Paul

Hey Paul, it is not a gap - it is the lunar monolith!
