Cyclone Lawrence

Hi guys, have you been following the weather maps on cyclone Lawrence over the last week or so? Most of the rains we're getting even as far as SA, VIC & NSW seems to be a trail off the original cyclone. It was also interesting to see the "vortex" shape making it well in-land past Broome into the desert. I thought those weather complex needed moisture and would only survive over the ocean not that deep inland? Any meteorologists on IIS? What are your thoughts?

This intruder is the reason for the latest bout of cloudy weather the instant I got off work.

Thanks for nothing Lawrence.
