Another year gone by .... and what a good one too.

It's the year I took up amateur astronomy. Lots of hilights in that space and many more to come.

Yes, a Merry Christmas to everyone, however you plan to celebrate the season, and have a safe New Year.

To those who I agreed and disagreed with in various threads over the last 12 months, I have looked upon it all as healthy, stimulating debate, but I look forward to a more relaxed 2010.

As far as hobbies go, this year was topped off with 3 beaut 'scopes: a Meade LX90 8", GSO 12" Dob and an SDM 16". 2010 wil be mainly a visual observing year. No imaging.

I plan to spend more time with the family, gardening, and building a garden railway in my back yard.

i had a good year - i am alive, the wife is still talking to me, i have taken some astrophotos and best of all, i enjoyed it at some dark skies with a good friend of mine - Thanks Al. this past year mate we have travelled over 4500klm - all astro related LOL.

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, an excellent boxing day and leading into the new year, a safe and prosperous New Year, and may we have the weather to use our christmas presents
