10" Dob

It's Murphy's Law. I have been waiting months for a second hand 10" dob to come up for sale in WA. I got sick of waiting and ordered a new one last week. It hasn't arrived yet.

Cheers

What does the tube weigh - can it be mounted on an equatorial?

Hi Ian,

I had the tube on an EQ6 just fine.
Tube Weight 14kg
Rings weight 2kg
another 2 photos showing tube without rings on it and the rings themselves.

The dovetail bar itself is 1 inch thick by 3 inches wide which gives it so much resistance to flexing.

Grahame.
