Adding signature to Windows Live Hotmail.

Aaaaarggghhh! Computers just arent my forte! I've been trying for nearly an hour already to add a signature to my emails, I've read the tutorial and followed the instructions, tried it in plain, html & rich test, i type in what i want press save and then test them out and its just not adding to the emails.

Am I missing something really obvious? So frustrating!

There is a signature option in hotmail. I just did it then, takes about 5 seconds to access.

Goto your inbox

On the far right is options

From the pull down menu that appears select more options at the bottom

It will take you to a new page

Then you will see the heading in big and yellow,
Customize your mail

The 4th option is Personal e-mail signature, click that one

Gives you a box to type what you want for your signature.

From then on that will appear straight away on every email you make.

Hope that helps.

*** This may in actualy fact be what you are already doing. I was able to save it and use it straight away though.

Thanks, yep that is what i'm doing, so bizarre, it still wont work for me. I've only been trying to do it one of my hotmail addresses (work one). I just tried in my other personal one and it worked fine but still it wont do it for me in the work one. I thought maybe it was because I had my mail forwarding to another address but took that off and it still doesnt work in that one, its got me totally myfd, eh might just give up and try again tomorrow haha

I vaguely recall having this issue about six months ago with my hotmail account. I am so sorry I cannot recall what the problem was.

I just tested it on an old Live Hotmail account of mine and it worked.

I will say the I have switched to a GMail account now and I love it. More options and flexibility. I would never go back to Hotmail.
