Hi folks!
After a very long time of absence I am back. Time of disinterest in astronomy left back. I did not visit any astronomy forum. Also the weather was bad so I did not have to resist stargazing

.
But now I am infected again. And so I bought a Gemini 42 mount with Pulsar controller.
Last weekend I started my fist attempts. I was not able to configure the autoguiding, so I had to do it manual

. Temperature 0 °F. Hoops, very exhausting!
But I got the feeling of astronomy and liked it yet.
Here are my results.

done with Pentax75, Canon 350d mod. 8x300sec and 10x60sec with ISO 800
And one night later I did this:

with Pentax75, Canon 350d mod. 6x600s with ISO 800
It was sooo freezing, I colud not do more frames. So it is a little bit noisy. But I was surprised to find these galaxies, so I enlarged them.
The witch head nebula is a difficult object. I think I will try it again (with autoguider

) and I have to increase the exposure time.
cheers

... and it is nice to be back here. Now I must visit all the other threads I missed. (at least a part of it

)
