Sunspots

Was out this morning shooting between the clouds.
I used Baadar solar film.

Scope - ed 80
camera - canon 20d
mount - iOptron Mini Tower
56 subs @ 500th sec
ISO 100
Stacked in Registax 5
Processed CS3

I'm really really looking forward to seeing what Dennis will produce.

That’s a lovely photo Jeanette – I really like these full disc images when there is a large group, the composition looks just stunning. The granulation looks really nice too – top stuff!

I’ve forgotten how to use my gear; it’s been so long, so thanks for reminding me how it’s done!
