Emoticons in Internet Explorer

I always use Firefox as my browser but when I was away from home I just couldn't stay away from you guys so I used internet cafe's to keep in touch. And I noticed that the emoticons in explorer are woefully slow moving in Firefox they really move well it must be something lacking in IE I have tried it on my computer with both IE and Firefox and I get the same result so it can't be caused by the hardware it must be the software. Anyway it proved to me that Firefox is much better than IE.

It could be that the graphics files are cached on your own computer and not on the machine that you used in the internet cafe. However, I am not sure if IE and Firefox share the same cache. Also the connection in the cafe may have been slower than your own.

I have tried IE and Firefox on my own PC and have seen the same difference on the same hardware and internet connection
