Yep.

And 'My Astro Shop' seems to be off the air, too.

Something about server maintenance etc

It's been down for a while.

Just tried the Sirius Optics web site and managed to navigate the site okay and everything appeared to look normal.

Cheers

Many thanks for the heads up everyone. It is appreciated. It would appear that the server has been hijacked by some spyware company. The server people are working on it now. If you go direct to the site at www.sirius-optics.com.au, it will work without any problem.

This sort of situation is precisely why there should be internationally binding laws on this nonsense. If they get caught, they should face trial in the country the infringement occurs. I'd make the penalties so steep, they'd think twice about doing it in the first place.

Only problem is getting those sorts of laws enacted.

How about inverse trial bargaining. Prosecute them in the country with the best chance of conviction, biggest fines and the longest gaol term.

And how do you think you will get them in a first place?
I am certain that no country will allow this sort of prosecutions, if infringement happened elsewhere. Even for the war crimes, it is extremely hard to prosecute.
Those comparatively minor offences have no chance to be heard at courts..
