A few of my macro shots as a first post

Seems macro stuff is pretty popular here so thought I would share a few of mine.

Nikon D2x with either 200mm or 105mm macro

Terrific photos – I just love the big, beaming smile on the happy frog’s face!

Cheers

WoW!! The first is great! Is the second a focus stack with the fly moving its leg in between shots? That shot is fantastic!!

Thanks the second shot is not a stack its a straight up shot at f16 off camera flash using the dof preview as a guide with 200mm macro and a nikon T5 close-up atachment. Never tried to do a stack and really never found a need to, most of my subjects simply move around too much any way.
The legs havent moved , what you are seeing is it cleaning its mouth parts with the front 2 legs

That's what is was thinking too, yet thought it's "mouth parts" looked too longish.

Thanks for the comments, the lizard was only about 3cm tall
and taken with a 400m lens with a canon 500D closeup attachment
as a make do macro lens.
