Smile First images with new LPI

Well I recived my new LPI today and couldn't wait to test it out, as with all new purchases it decides to rain so no astro shots so I set up the 60mm refractor hooked up the LPI to the laptop and started to play around with the meade software (nice software just a little slow to update the live image). Switched to Iris and took some small avi's ran them through registax and got this image.

Well it looks like I have a bit more time to test and play with the settings before the good weather is back.

Congrats on the new toy Darren. Learning the LPI should keep you off the streets for awhile, lol. Nice image BTW.

Congrats on your new investment, I'm sure you will have allot of fun with
it. The moon at present is a good target to play with, a lil perseverance
and you will pull off some great planetary and luna images with the LPI
as well as the odd star cluster.

If you need any help or have any Q’s please feel free to PM me.

regards,CS
