I have placed my trusty QHY8 OSC Camera up for sale. It is a couple of years old and has taken some wonderful images.
It comes as a complete kit comprising the QHY8 Camera, QHY Ir blocking filter/nosepiece, Power supply, power regulator, 2" nose piece and case.
I have upgraded to a QHY8Pro which has the added feature of temp control but otherwise the same CCD and electronics in a diferent case.
The camera has been used in a very humid area and would freeze any moisture in the camera case when used at sub zero temps during winter. I fitted a QHY desicant tube to the camera which prevented the ingress of moisture into the camera and subsequent problem. The other side of the camera has a screw which when removed allowed the camera to be mounted on a normal camera tripod. I have some of the desicant strips I cut up and put in the tube and more can be purchased from Theo/Gama on this forum.
The paint work on the outside of the case doesn't look wonderful but the camera is working 100%.

This is an excelent camera at a bargain price of $1200 FIRM including Postage in Australia.
