My best mars yet

Have roughly processed this image of mars taken last night about 12 .30 and added a starry night picture for around same time for comparison. will try to process other pictures better.

LX90/LPI/x3 barlow (approx f30) 200 pics stacked by autostarsuite software at only 50% quality. Processed in registax . Right hand picture as simulated by starry night for around that time.

very nice, and you seemed to have the features ok. Strange though that given the amount of detail you have there is no hint of that blue veil around the north pole, yours seems to have it white?

Very nice detail 5ash, though as h0ughy said the white balance appears to be a bit off as the NPH should be blue.
