First macro spider

Picked up a set of Kenko extension tubes and used my 50mm 1:1.8 to chase some bugs around the garden.

This is my first decent image.

A few observations, focusing is very difficult, you have to get very close to the target, it is great fun, spiders jump at cameras.

Aww Frank, what a cutie you found. Slightly off focus, but very good effort, very well done. That's a Jumping Spider btw, and yes, they are known for jumping into the front elements of camera lenses. They are pretty friendly, highly intelligent and very unnagressive.
