Mount will take 10Kg for visual use.
Mount will take about 6-7Kg for imaging use, depending on the size of the tube (refractor arounds 8Kg, SCT's between 6 and 7 Kg)

Cheers

The mount takes a C8 with ease for astrophotography, I'm pretty sure it would handle 10kg for astrophotography. I've use one regularly with a C8 at and it is capable - unguided - of doing 1 minute exposures.
