Going to be in Hobart 10-15th November, Can any locals tell me if there is any activities on that weekend in or around Hobart for Astronomy??

Going to do the Salamancha Market (Sat Morn) and New Sydney Pub (sessions and Guiness Sat arvo)

Hi Arthur, The Astronomical Society of Tasmania hold regular viewing nights on Fridays. They have an observatory at Mt Canopus out near Cambridge. If you go to their website there is a contact no. (0419305722) to ring to get details of the next session. There is quite an active group of amateur astronomers in the South of the state and a bunch of us up North too.
