Weather device control in SA?

I'm routinely observing cloud cover, jetstream etc... to get a feel for the night and I have noticed that for more than a week now the usual pattern of clouds coming from the west then passing NSW towards the east has stopped. It seems that everything is in "equilibrium" and oscillating/hovering. In short we get the crap and clouds in NSW and SA is getting the only hole in the patch with great seeing and clear skies.

So I'm asking what's the deal guys? Feeling a bit guilty in SA? Huh? What have you been up to? (besides imaging your a** off I guess)
