Brisbane Storm - 5/11/2009

Got this last night during the storm.

It is only a 3 second exposure (good timing

), f8 and ISO 100. Used a Canon 10-22mm @ 22mm.

Andrew,

That's beautiful. I really like how well defined the individual arcs of the bolt are.

Somewhat like a tree trunk, branch and twig system.

Very good.

Wow! That's one of the best lightning shots I've seen Andrew! Great stuff!

I had plans to try and get some shots myself, but I was in the middle of bottling home brew when the storm came through. Hopefully we'll get a few more this summer.
