An interesting selection of photos in this round with a wide variety of interpretations on the theme "Movement".
Nice work everyone.

Congratulations to Troy (Bloodbean) for his winning entry, a great long exposure shot of a plane coming in to land.

Well done Troy on your win.

You get to choose our theme for November !

Wow, there was some great entries this month! Thanks for the votes, I was surprised how the shot came out when I first saw it on my computer. I've always enjoyed any form of light trails so I figured this would be a good way to show some motion.

How about Playing Around for next months competition topic?

Troy

Nice work Troy – it looks a bit like a milder version of the F-111 “dump and burn” where fuel is dumped (vapourised) via the fuel mast between the twin rear engines and then set alight by the after burners’!

A big well done to all the other entrants - a terrific set of photos showing such a wide interpretation of the theme. I enjoyed browsing them all.

Cheers

Dennis

Well deserved win there Troy... Talk about grabbing the subject by the horns!! So much movement going on in there its not funny!

I love the composition, colours and the dynamic range shown in the shot..

Great work, to everyone who entered.

Alex.

Well done Troy and all who entered.
As intended there were a lot of different interpretations of the theme. Good stuff.

Have to agree, shame that a boat or ferry didn't move through the frame too!

BTW Troy, what is it that was moving in the centre of the roundabout?
Looks like flags or something?

MrB,

Yes there's some tall flags that were flapping around in the middle of the roundabout that also contributed to the "movement" hence they have a bit of blur.

Thanks for all the comments, I'm looking forward to seeing the entries for this months topic!

Troy
