Masayuma 2" eyepieces

Out of curiosity, what might one of these be worth ?
I know they're excellent eyepieces but I can't find any indication of what they originally sold for, nor any that have sold secondhand. In particular the massive 45mm...

I found the price list of new eyepieces from the Astronomy & Electronics Centre from some 18 years ago! It also has a picture of the entire Masuyama range, from the 7.5mm to the 80mm.

2" 45mm: $464
2" 60mm: $704
2" 80mm: $1408

I have the 35mm, and the 45mm looks twice the size, the 60mm three times, and the 80mm, well, bloody enourmous!

I think the 35mm is very good. Only thing is most focusers are set too high for its use, that is, the focuser needs to be wound in more than with other eyepieces. It's good with my C5 & 10" (I made the focuser's position such that it would focus in my 10"), but I can't use it on the Odyssey's current configuration so I can't comment on using it on such a fast scope.

Don't forget it is around 20 years old in design, and many newer eyepieces have a wider FOV (compared to 52 deg.) and are sharp to the edge of field even with fast scopes.

Oh, yeah! I have not seen another eyepiece like it. The finish, details, lines, markings. Nearly as good looking as my missus! Where is she...

Oh, I digress. Sorry.

Wavy, I'll bring it next time we meet if you like.

I'll be making sure that I will be able to use it on the Odyssey.
