Another active region developing and with any luck into something a bit bigger than the last lot of active regions.

Seeing was not that good but it is nice to see more activity developing on sol. In fact right now there are several areas that are visible in Ha and Xray.

I had a look today with my solar setup, didn't go high mag, but it was very interesting to watch the steady/unsteadiness of it all. Had a crack at some solar imaging (white light), could not really see the sunspots through the camera's viewfinder. Will post a thread later, for now, dinner awaits.

Looking good Paul,

You really do cover the whole gamut of imaging possibilities, astro and terrestrial. Love how crisp the detail is in this image.

Not much of a change today, more spots but this is not showing up much in Ha.

I would be more excited if this image looked like the one in this link.
