I'll let you be the judge...

More than likely created as a way to massively dumb down what CERN are doing so that the general public gain some (if somewhat, incoherent and idiosyncratic) knowledge of whats happening.. making it appear like its all fun and games, pointing out the significant things that could possibly be discovered etc.. And hopefully putting an end to all the hoo har about how CERN are going to destroy the planet, Nay, the entire universe with their piddley little particle accelerator..

Personally, I think we should make a ELHC (Even Larger Hadron Collider) on the moon... make it a good 1000km in circumference and really throw rather large bursts of particles through it... Get some serious collisions happening at near light speed and monitor it from the saftey of the earth!

The illusive LSD particle captured for the first time!

It's running rings around the other particles (pun intended).

Your LSD particle diagram is flawed.

I see the observable affects of the LSD particle are quite pronounced on the scientists.

It seems the accelerator is actually sending LSD particles out into the world... Seems people think that time traveling particles are sabotaging the LHC's LSD producing module...

CERN's on-line gift shop have these wonderful "The particles are looking back at me, M-A-N" and "Black Holes are fun" Tee Shirt designs.

No wonder this thing is not getting anywhere... all those bludgers are dancing instead of creating new particles

Feynman would be turning in his grave with diagrams like that.

Its Ok Feynman... It was just a bad dream, Go back to sleep!

Heres my quick MSPaint drawing to make Feynman feel better...

mine is (somewhat) accurate

However yours shows a hint of comical genius.. So I guess they both carry merit..

He would now be doing double somersaults.

As Crocodile Dundee might have said "You call that a Feynman diagram, this is a Feynman diagram!"

yes well... Feynman is clearly no chemist... When doing a molecular diagram, I think mine is fairly accurate... especially considering I did it up in MSPaint..

I dont think you could do a Feynman diagram of an LSD molecule, I am fairly sure you cant do one of any molecule? however I am no scientist.. Thats where you come in!

But he was believed to be an end user.

According to Genius, the James Gleick-authored biography, Feynman experimented with LSD during his professorship at Caltech.[12] Somewhat embarrassed by his actions, Feynman largely sidestepped the issue when dictating his anecdotes: he mentions it in passing in the "O Americano, Outra Vez" section, while the "Altered States" chapter in Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! describes only marijuana and ketamine experiences at John Lilly's famed sensory deprivation tanks, as a way of studying consciousness.[14] Feynman gave up alcohol when he began to show early signs of alcoholism, as he did not want to do anything that could damage his brain—the same reason given in "O Americano, Outra Vez" for his reluctance to experiment with LSD.[14]

mmm .... I choose to plead the 5th with regard to experimentation with altered states of consciousness..
