I’ve just got around to processing some data from 21st Oct, of Sirius taken with the (colour) DBK21AF04 and the Mewlon 180 with Tak x1.6 Extender. The seeing was probably a good 7/10 for that particular avi. This is the first time I have attempted Sirius A & B with a colour ccd camera.
Later, I tried with a Televue x4 Powermate and although the apparent separation was greater due to the increased magnification and smaller pixels of the DMK31, the seeing had dropped off and the image didn’t look as pretty in mono!
