Image intensifiers (Night vision)

Folks,

Has anyone used night vision equipment modified to fit on their scope for either visual or photographic use?
Are there any such devices available in a 1.25 or 2 inch format for insertion into your optical train?
Anyone modified an of-the-shelf night vision viewer for scope use?

Hi Jason,
Yes i have seen the image intensifiers, and although do a good job, its more annoying than anything else. The resolution isnt there, also there is the single green annoying color.
They were and still are available in the U.S, but due to export restrictions, they are not available outside the U.S.
From memory they were about $3k up, but many never liked the quality produced..
